Fashion Photoshoot: 3rd Dec 2017

Highlights:

  • Introduction to fashion photography
  • Understanding lighting setups and techniques, using fully equipped studio setup.
  • You will have hands-on experience by shooting real models.
  • Event covers everything from setting up the light, to execute a successful fashion shoot.
  • Multiple models and multiple costumes.
  • Different glamour lighting setups including hi-key and lo-key lighting setups.

Essentials:

  • DSLR Camera
  • Fully charged battery for your camera
  • Enough Space on Memory card

Light Painting: 10th Dec 2017

Light painting is one of the creative photography technique which uses slower shutter speed feature of camera.

Essentials:

  • A DSLR camera
  • Sturdy Tripod
  • Electric cable release or remote trigger (could be called either) or timer
  • Fully charged battery for your camera (long exposures and cold eat up batteries quickly so you may run through two or more in a night)
  • Empty Memory card

 

Location: Pune

When: 10th December 2017

Time: 6 PM (IST) sharp

Startrails: 16th Dec 2017

Pixavince announces the most spectacular event of the year for you. Indulge yourself in the experience of photographing millions of stars.

Details of the Outdoor Event:

Where: Near Pune

When: Saturday 16th December 2017

Time: Afternoon 4 PM (IST) sharp
Bus Route: Aundh – Nal stop – Rajaram Bridge – Sinhagad Road highway corner – Startrail destination
Distance: Approx. 60 Kms, Travel time: 2 Hours
Common Meeting Point: Sinhagad road corner. Towards Satara Highway.

Essentials:

  • Camera Gear
  • Sturdy Tripod
  • Fully charged battery for your camera (long exposures and cold eat up batteries quickly so you may run through two or more in a night)
  • Empty Memory card
  • Wired Remote/Camera with intervalometer
  • Wide angle lenses are preferable
  • Good pair of shoes (Compulsory)
  • Good torch light + cloth to protect your gear from dew.
  • Warm Clothes are a must (It is going to be very chilling in the night)
  • Good to have: Seating Mat
  • Drinking Water and snacks.
  • Mosquito repellent cream.
  • A Good Smile

Plan:

  • 6:00pm: Reach destination
  • 6:15pm: Briefing about camera settings and star trail photography
  • 7:00pm to 8:30pm: Star trails photography shoot
  • 8:30pm: Dinner (veg only)
  • 9:00pm to 10:30pm: Star trails photography shoot
  • 10:30pm: Journey back to Pune as per route.

 

Do’s:
1. Please carry a good pair of shoes. Don’t wear flip-flops or chappals.

  1. Carry warm clothes compulsory (jacket + socks + headgear)
    3. Carry personnel medicine if any.

Don’ts:

  1. Don’t be late.
  2. Avoid any adventure that may be risky for yourself and for other photographers.
  3. Be humble with locals.
  4. Do not litter.

Highlights:

  • Get your photos reviewed for valuable inputs to improvise in photography.
  • Get tips for better photos.
  • Interact with Pixavince team to get your photography problems or difficulties resolved.
  • Discuss about your specific needs or requirements in photography.

Essentials:

  • Photos to be discussed (We will provide Google drive path to upload the photos before event)
  • Photos on Laptop (optional)

  • Please take permission before clicking as and when needed (Ex: Before photographing people specially women, private properties like shop/bungalow)
  • Prefer wearing comfortable footwear/clothes.
  • Please stick to be in the group and follow instructions by mentor’s.
  • Pixavince is not liable for any loss/damage of gear, valuables or any other losses during the events. Participants are responsible for their own safety.
  • If you have any medical discomfort, please let us know before the event and carry medicines.
  • Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited during the events.
  • Pixavince has the rights to alter the itinerary or cancel the event in case of any unexpected change in weather or any unpredicted situations occur that are beyond our control.
  • Participants must be on time for the event.
  • Refunds on cancellations are based on the logistics for each event.
  • Without prior notice, failure to attend free event will incur loss of one free event in subsequent month. Prior notice must be given at least 2 days prior to the event.
